Sarah Shipman is an artist and author based in Atlanta, Georgia, whose idea for Our Tarot was born in a personal place. During a period of heartbreak and reflection, Shipman combed through history books and began to map historical women onto tarot archetypes. She saw tarot as a way to connect personal emotional experience with broader historical and archetypal stories.
